Arrest in 2005 Homicide on Dodge Park Drive 

      Prince George’s County, Maryland…The Prince George’s County Police Department (PGPD) has arrested 26-year-old Frank William Jackson in connection with a homicide that occurred on Dodge Park Road on November 28, 2005.  

      On November 30, 2005, Jackson, of the 7100 block of East Kilmer Street, was arrested and charged with First Degree Murder.

      On November 28, 2005, at approximately 10:00 p.m., officers responded to the 3400 block of Dodge Park Road for the report of a shooting.  After checking the area officers were unable to locate a victim.  After a preliminary investigation it was learned that the victim’s friends had transported the victim, 28-year-old Telly Ruidoso Allen, of the 9600 block of Gwyndale Drive, to a local hospital with a gunshot wound to the lower body.  He was pronounced dead a short time later.  

      PGPD closed 98 homicides in 2005 and an additional four during the first 11 days of this year. Three of the four homicides closed this year occurred in 2005.

      The FBI standard that all police departments across the country follow to measure homicide closures is the Uniform Crime Reporting (UCR) standard.  The UCR standard counts all homicides that are closed during any given year, regardless of the year in which the homicide occurred.
